This year's Deepavali Celebrations will get a much needed
boost with the organizing of the first ever of its kind
Shopping cum Entertainment Carnival called, Fiesta Deepavali
2007.
For the first time ever, one LIVE Deepavali Carnival, the
Fiesta Deepavali is being simultaneously held at 3 different
Venues, over a 14-Day period. The endorsement by the Tourism
Ministry to promote it as part of the Visit Malaysia 2007
and 50th Merdeka Celebrations Programme, further enhances
the significance and the grandeur of this record-breaking
Event. . |

It is hoped that the Event will add
gaiety to this year's Deepavali celebrations, not only
for Indians, but also to arouse the celebrative spirit
among all the races and more so among the tens of
thousands of Tourists, who are here to experience the
many facets of the country's VMY 2007 Celebrations! The
presence of Ministers and other VVIPs adds significance
to Fiesta Deepavali, as an important event in the
forthcoming National Deepavali Celebrations. Since
Fiesta Deepavali is expected to be a regular annual
event, the Organizers have also introduced an Official
Mascot in the form of the majestic Peacock.
Entrance is FREE and the Carnival is being
simultaneously held in Brickfields, Sentul and Puchong,
to enable locals in these areas and surrounding
districts to patronize and experience a heart-winning
package of Gala Entertainment, Value-Packed Shopping,
Invaluable Community Service Projects and various other
Interactive Prize-winning Annual Competitions and
Thrilling Contests.

The public who participate in the
various LIVE Contests on stage will also be able to win
various Prizes. The numerous Traders' Booths will also
enable Deepavali Shoppers, to enjoy great savings while
cherishing the Carnival atmosphere, enhanced by LIVE

This Shopping cum Entertainment Carnival is
also jointly organized with the MIC of Puchong for the Jom
Ke SPORTS TOTO Fiesta Deepavali in Puchong, and with the
collaboration of Sentul Cinema for the Jom Ke SPORTS TOTO
Fiesta Deepavali in Sentul and with the Brickfields Business
Vision Society for Jom Ke SPORTS TOTO Fiesta Deepavali in
Brickfields.
The Carnival will be called, “Jom Ke SPORTS TOTO Fiesta
Deepavali 2007”, in view of the fact that SPORTS TOTO is the
Main Sponsor for the Event, while Berjaya Times Square Hotel
& Convention Center is the Official Hotel for the Event.
